So I'm playing Far Cry 3 for the first time and after like 20 hours of gameplay on PC this f*cking popup with a message started showing every time I close the map saying "Trying to connect to Far Cry 3 servers" and then "Unable to connect to Far Cry 3 servers". Hey i just got farcry3 and im trying to zoom in on the map. I know its scroll with the mous wheel but that does not work. ive also tried plugging in a controller to see if it would let me that way. But unfortunatly not. When i plug in a controller map just breaks. Its all out of place and stuff. Is it normal?.. Im just trying to hunt a goat to upgrade my weapon holster they are not .. you need to use your screen shot key for that ..see settings in Ubi connect. you can set up any key you wish to use for taking a screen shot and set a destination folder. Just press the Alt key (or whatever key bind you use for Toggling Map Legends) and the problem sovles itself.
